What follows is a generalized description of the product we created for Visiting Nurses of America. The description below is meant to showcase the tools and skills I developed as a student.
Introduction
Visiting Nurses of America is a nonprofit organization that provides hospice and palliative care, nutritious meals, and social connection for homebound seniors. We used data they provided to offer analytics solutions to improve volunteer engagement.
Final Product - Tableau Visualizations
Describe.
Our Tableau visualizations transformed bland numbers in excel into descriptive representations of who VNA’s current volunteers were. Analyzing demographic data provided a full image of VNA’s volunteer strengths and helped us link volunteers to patients.
Predict.
Our analysis included a growth projection to ensure VNA would be prepared to continue meeting patient needs.
Enhance.
We combined our analysis with detailed research of the business sector as a whole to provide a series of recommendations tailored to VNA’s interests and capabilities.
